A little bit of glam and a whole lotta facial hair….

Cincinatti’s Foxy Shazam, surely a name screaming to be a character from Boogie Nights, are a whole pile of uplifting. If Mika (with the annoying gene removed) and Electric 6 consummated then this just might be the result.A digital two track taster can be found on iTunes; ‘Wanna Be Angel‘ takes nods from Bon Scott’s gravel mixer vocals to frenetic E Street Band piano thumping; it’s enough to get James Brown popping approving splits in his grave.

They’re bringing their soul/rock vibe (and some crazy dance moves) to London for a bit of a residency. Their show promises to be high on rocket fuel and singer Eric Nally seems the type to leap into the front rows and grind into the punters. Ladies, check your chastity belts!
