The Dig is a late night lock-in inspired by the underground speakeasys of the 1930s, which showcases work and performances from musicians, poets, film makers, artists, writers, ramblers, dreamers and the like.

The next Dig will be Friday 4th December, 10pm – LATE
The Dig, 161 Kinglsand Road, London, E2 8LA
That night The Dig will be a ritzy winter soiree. Fashion designers and photographers will exhibit original works, and live music comes from Dan Michaelson & The Coastguards and Danny Valentine and The Meditations. Exhibitions from some of London’s most exiting up-and-coming artists will don the walls and The Dig celebrates the season with a special wintertide film instillation.
Outside, The Dig brings you a rustic vintage winter; roasted chestnuts, German sausages and hot cider all accompanied by buskers and spoken word performance.
Each month The Dig invites creatives to perform, drink, dance, discuss and ignite grey matter until the early hours. Showcasing original works from up and coming musicians, independent film makers and poets, through to authors, painters and sculptors, The Dig brings you a unique cherry picked platter of talent.
But don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes. The Dig brings you performances from an alphabet of bands while our resident and guest DJs play everything from 60’s pop and alternative classics to rock b-sides and cult indie – guaranteeing musical satisfaction, and delighted feet. With top class instrumentalists performing Blue Ribbon Busking outside, even a cigarette break offers a spot of musical delight.
