Charlie Le Mindu’s second London Fashion Week outing has only cemented his segue from hairdresser to hair designer. Le Mindu’s dark interest in the macabre is clearly on display in his new collection of hair-made garments. His injection of colour into his ‘designs’ adds an extra dimension to his looks, creating feathered texture, tapering into a fitted garment. Le Mindu’s brave collection is nothing short of pure fantasy; with woven hair creating twisted dream-like costumes.

Intertwined with a religious subject matter, with spangly religious symbolism creating an even darker black effigy to the occasion. Le Mindu’s obscenely conceptual collection definitely steps out of the fashion box, I’ll be nipping down to Peckham’s finest hair shops next Autumn for sure!
