What type of look is the fashionable fella after at the moment?
Short around the sides but not too short. Lots of texture on top with some length. This cut will leave the client with something to re-style in many different ways such as a sweeping fringe, quiff or a sort of “Beckham-esque” texturised style. For longer hair types who prefers a bit of irreverence like Russell Brand, I texturise and thin out for them so the layers can be scrunched for that “just got out of bed” look.
Essential hair products?
Any matt products, no shine is essential. However we use a lot of Matt Pastes in the salon this allows our guys to re-style their hair in various ways without the hassle and I highly recommend TIGI Textursing Paste for Men or Wella Professionals High Hair Punk Chic.
